You approve every change.
In Ask 1barn, every change comes back as a card: edit it, apply it, or say not now. In your AI app, each 1barn tool says whether it only reads, changes records, or reaches past 1barn (an email, a notice), so the app can ask before it acts.

Same permissions as the person asking: staff see only what they can already see. A change you apply is made as you, the same as if you had tapped it yourself.

Your data, said plainly.
- On 1barn's AI, questions and the records needed to answer them go to Anthropic. They are not trained on and are deleted within 30 days, unless Anthropic's safety systems flag a policy violation.
- On your own key, they go to the provider your barn chose, Anthropic or OpenAI. With the connector, your AI app's terms apply.
- 1barn deletes a conversation within 3 hours of your last message (sooner if you start a new one) and keeps only usage counts, never the text.

Do I have to use the AI?
No. Everything in 1barn works without it. Ask 1barn Light comes with every plan; use it as much or as little as you like.
What does it cost?
Plans start at $29 a month, and every plan includes Ask 1barn Light: 100 questions a month for the whole barn, in the free trial too. If your barn asks more, Plus gives 400 questions for +$19 a month, Pro gives 1,000 questions for +$39 a month, Max gives 2,000 questions for +$69 a month. If your barn uses its own AI key, there's no question limit; your provider bills you for use.
What counts as a question?
A question counts once however many lookups it takes; a follow-up is a question too. A question that fails or that you stop doesn't count. Questions are shared by the whole barn and reset on the 1st. Owners see how many questions each person has used, and get a notice at 80% of the month's allowance.
