Every plan includes Ask 1barn Light, 100 questions a month. Card required to start a trial; nothing is charged until it ends. Cancel any time from your account. Program is opening to a few barns at a time; the waiting list is the way in.

Every plan includes Light: 100questions a month for your staff. Need more? Add Plus, Pro or Max to any plan, any time, from Settings › Assistant. On a yearly plan they're yearly too, with two months free.

Questions people ask
- What counts as a horse on the Stable plan?
- Any horse that lives on your records and isn't archived. Horses that leave can be archived and don't count.
- What counts as a question for Ask 1barn?
- Each question you ask is one; a follow-up in the same conversation is a new question. Looking things up and applying the changes it proposes don't count. Only staff can ask, and the questions are shared by the whole barn, resetting on the 1st.
- What happens at the monthly limit?
- Asking pauses until the 1st, and changes already proposed can still be applied. The owner can move up to Plus, Pro or Max from Settings › Assistant at any time; the larger allowance starts at once, and you pay the difference for the rest of the billing period. Every plan includes Light, 100 questions a month.
- Can we use our own AI account instead?
- Yes. Paste your own Anthropic or OpenAI key in Settings › Assistant and there's no monthly limit; your provider bills you directly. The plan price stays the same.
- When does Program open?
- Soon, a few barns at a time. Join the waiting list on its card and we'll email you the day it opens, with the price you see here.
- Can I change plans?
- Any time, from your account, once the plan you want is open. Moving up or down takes effect right away, and the difference is prorated on your next invoice.
- What happens when the trial ends?
- On day 15 your card is charged for the plan you chose, at the introductory rate if you're on monthly. We email you a few days before, with the amount and a link to cancel.
- Is there a fee on payments?
- 1barn adds a 1.2% fee to the card and bank payments it processes for your barn, on top of Stripe's own processing fee. It comes out of your Stripe payouts, never your customers' bills, and it's refunded in proportion whenever you refund a payment.
- Do boarders pay anything?
- No. Boarders, riders, and families use the app free, as many as you have.
- Is there a contract?
- No. Monthly plans can be cancelled any time. Yearly plans run for the year you paid for.
- What about billing and invoicing?
- It's on the way for the Program plan. Barns that need it today can ask us about early access.
