The timetable, solved.
A lesson program is a puzzle every term: who can teach when, who wants to ride when, which horse suits which rider, how many fit in the arena. 1barn holds the pieces and proposes an answer.
How a term comes together
Instructors drag their available hours onto a week grid. Families submit what they want, with a first and second choice, from a form on your website or by staff on their behalf.
When the sheet is full enough, one click proposes the timetable. The proposal lists every placement and every request it couldn't place, with the reason. Apply it and the lessons land on the calendar for the term.
Each week, a second solver proposes horse assignments. Each horse's workload, disciplines, and level are weighed against each rider. Staff adjust and apply.
The rest of the barn is already there
Lesson horses are the barn's horses, so their care, health records, and emergency cards are one tap away. Riders and families are the barn's people, so the waiver they signed and the messages you've sent are on their record.
Questions lesson barns ask
- How does the timetable solver work?
- It takes each instructor's availability, each family's requested times and options, the arenas and their capacity, and proposes a weekly timetable for the term. Staff see why each lesson landed where it did, then apply it or discard it.
- What does the horse solver do?
- Each week it proposes which horse each rider gets, from the horses in the program, their disciplines and levels, and what each rider needs. Staff can change any assignment before applying.
- Can families sign up from our website?
- Yes. The waiting list is a small widget you paste into your site. Requests land on the term's sheet for staff to review.
- What happens between terms?
- Roll the term over. Last term's availability and requests carry forward marked pending, so instructors and families confirm rather than re-enter.
The Program plan is $79 a month, or $790 a year.
