1barn

What's in it.

Every part of 1barn, and the plan it comes with.

Horses and people

Stable and up

A record for every horse: the name the barn calls it, its registered name, breed, color, markings, microchip, sire and dam, arrival and departure. Its photo, its owners and who pays, its stall and turnout.

People are filed as boarders, staff, vendors, or family, with the relationships between them. A rider's level and disciplines live on their record for the lesson program.

Each person who needs a login gets one by invitation, as a customer who sees their own horses or as staff who run the barn.

Facility

Stable and up

Barns, stalls, paddocks, and arenas with capacity. Assign a horse a home and a turnout, give notice, and see what's about to open up.

Daily care

Stable and up

Standing instructions per horse, feed and meds and turnout, become a daily round that staff check off on their phones. The log keeps who did what and when, and a horse's page shows the last week at a glance.

Health records and renewals

Stable and up

Vaccinations, Coggins, dental, farrier, deworming, and anything else with a date. Set how often each is due and the dashboard says what's late and what's coming.

An emergency card per horse: who decides, who to call, what the barn may do. Share the gaps with owners in one message.

Calendar and events

Stable and up; registration on Barn and up

One calendar for lessons, events, and service days, with a subscription feed for your own calendar app. Events take registrations and, with your Stripe account connected, payment: in full, or a deposit with the balance charged to the saved card, sent as a link, or paid at the barn. Families' credits apply at checkout. Bookable events let families pick a time instead: you set when you're available for a trail ride or a pony party, and they book it, with approval first if you like.

Sign

Barn and up

Upload a PDF, place the fields, and send it. Signers get a link, sign on their phone, and everyone gets the signed copy. Text, date, checkbox, radio, drop-down, and secure fields for bank details.

Publish a template as a public form so a new rider can sign the waiver before their first lesson. Forms name themselves from what's on them, and you can search by anything a signer typed.

Every field's data exports to CSV, one row per signed form.

Shared files and messages

Barn and up

Share documents with everyone, with staff, or with specific people. Boards for announcements and groups for the conversations that used to live in a text thread.

Lessons

Program

A term is a set of weeks. Instructors mark when they can teach; families say what they want and when; a waiting list on your website collects the rest.

The timetable solver proposes a schedule from all of that. Each week, the horse solver proposes which horse each rider gets. Staff apply or discard a proposal; nothing changes behind their back.

Roll a term into the next and start from last term's answers, marked pending until confirmed.

Ask 1barn

Every plan; Light included

The AI assistant inside 1barn, for the barn's staff. Ask about the barn in plain words, or tell it what needs doing: it looks things up as you, answers from your own records, and brings any change back as a card to apply. Ask 1barn Light, 100 questions a month for the whole barn, comes with every plan; busier barns move up a tier, or use their own Anthropic or OpenAI key.

Prefer your own AI app? The 1barn connector brings the barn into Claude, and into ChatGPT Business and Enterprise workspaces, under your own 1barn login.

Program, coming soon
